My name is Elizabeth de Prada.
I have been drawing since I was a kid.
'Painting completed my life'.
I studied Art at Facultad de Bellas Artes, Madrid.
My work has a home in children's and young adult books, magazines, galleries, and more.
I work mainly with traditional techniques: gouache, oil painting and ink.
Although most of my time is spent drawing and painting, I also thoroughly enjoy reading, cooking, horse riding, surf, boxing, taekwondo, rollerblading and photography.
I love nature and adventuring. I adore watching the stars and the ocean.
I like listening to music or the radio while working.
Regarding my training, I have never stopped learning, from my first workshop in 1990 with José Hernández to Benjamin Lacombe, Mab Graves or Rebecca Dautremer recently. I am still experimenting everyday.
I worked as a freelancer for various clients, heading to the world of illustration.
I have published: Alas de mariposa, Paisajes del Alma, Cuaderno de Caligrafía and Harry Peter.
You can find my artwork in painting collections in Spain and abroad.
Currently I live in Madrid.
